You don’t need a motto to be successful
There were a few times when I’ve been personally asked: what is your personal motto?
My first thought was: the fuck I know? The one about lemons, I guess? The second thought led to a blank page. Error 404. Tabula rasa. The more I thought about it, the more I realised that there is no “one and only” motivational phrase that would pull me and my life towards a better future.
(…) Does it make me a bad person? A failure? Absolutely not.
Moving away from bad habits and toxic patterns as a designer
If I had to list every single bad habit or toxic patterns as a designer and creative person… it would be longer than your monthly Costco receipt.
But this time I’m actively changing things that no longer serve me and my creative process.
Your workstation impacts your creative thinking
Some of you might have already noticed, or maybe not, that the room and your workstation have a massive impact on your performance. It’s not just about noise, people yelling and being obnoxious (if you work in the office, of course). It’s mostly about what you are surrounding yourself with.
Let me introduce myself (again)
Reintroducing myself in 2026 might be a bold move. Not because I don’t believe in myself, but because the market and the world wide web are so overly saturated by designers, creative thinkers and hag-ridden AI enthusiasts that I think it takes another kind of bravery to show yourself for who you really are, and not for what ChatGPT wants you to be.
